Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive work schedules.
  • Create and oversee detailed testing and retesting timelines while managing resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with various work groups to optimize resource distribution.
  • Analyze work orders and provide scheduling recommendations.
  • Formulate 'what if' scenarios and collaborate with teams to establish effective scheduling strategies.
  • Identify additional support activities and integrate them into the schedule.
  • Update and manage work management and scheduling software.
  • Generate reports to clarify work scope.
  • Coordinate with operations to define tagging system boundaries.
  • Monitor progress and update schedules during execution.
  • Conduct critical path analysis for outage timelines.
  • Assist in developing post-work evaluations.
  • Facilitate collaboration among multiple work groups.
  • Identify scheduling conflicts, analyze alternatives, and propose solutions.
  • Recommend improvements to existing methods and processes to enhance outage efficiency.
  • Effectively communicate technical information both verbally and in writing.
  • Participate as a member of the Emergency Response Organization.
Qualifications

Education:

  • Scheduler I: Technical degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Scheduler II: B.S. Degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Scheduler Sr: B.S. Degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Outage Scheduler Sr: B.S. Degree in Engineering or related field preferred.

Experience:

  • Scheduler I: Minimum of 1 year in nuclear power plant operations.
  • Scheduler II: Minimum of 3 years in nuclear power plant operations.
  • Scheduler Sr: Minimum of 4 years in nuclear power plant operations; 2 years in maintenance or operations preferred.
  • Outage Scheduler Sr: Minimum of 4 years in nuclear power plant operations; 2 years in maintenance or operations preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong technical understanding of nuclear generation principles and operations.
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in business applications; familiarity with Primavera P6 scheduling software is highly desired.
