Position Overview:
The Supply Chain Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of inventory management within the organization. This position is responsible for ensuring that all clinical supply areas are adequately stocked and organized.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Generate and analyze system replenishment reports to monitor inventory levels.
2. Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy and prepare necessary documentation for stock issues and transfers.
3. Process all supply inventory transactions through the Meditech and Omnicell systems, ensuring timely and accurate entries.
4. Address all requisitions promptly, aiming for completion within a 24-hour timeframe.
5. Manage gas tank requests, ensuring the proper handling and segregation of full and empty tanks.
6. Collaborate with the Inventory Coordinator to recommend improvements for par area efficiency.
7. Complete all assigned daily tasks in a timely manner, maintaining a high standard of work.
8. Assist in identifying and managing recalled items, preparing them for return or disposal.
9. Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory assessments as required.
10. Ensure accurate processing of outgoing mail on a daily basis.

Work Environment:
Maintain positive relationships with all staff levels, contributing to a collaborative work atmosphere. Help uphold the cleanliness and organization of storerooms and clinical supply areas.

Stock Management:
Regularly review stock for expiration dates, rotate inventory, and inspect items prior to issuing or transferring to clinical departments.

Additional Duties:
On a rotating basis, manage the maintenance of crash cart supplies, including updates to logs and drawer exchanges. Participate in the collection and cleaning of equipment from utility areas, ensuring proper storage in designated locations.

Qualifications:
1. A minimum of five years of relevant experience in inventory management or a related field.
2. High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
