Custodian Assistant

This role involves performing manual work related to the cleaning and maintenance of university buildings and facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a clean and safe environment for students, staff, and faculty.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and sanitize floors, hallways, and stairways
- Dust and clean furniture, windows, and fixtures
- Clean and maintain restrooms, including replenishing supplies
- Operate vacuum cleaners and buffers
- Empty trash containers and clean trash rooms
- Assist with unloading and distributing supplies and materials
- Monitor and requisition supplies and materials
- Report needed repairs and property damage
- Completion of the tenth grade preferred
- Some related experience preferred
The successful candidate will be required to work in a variety of environments, including cold, heat, and temperature swings. They may also be required to work outdoors and in locations with hazardous environments.
