We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse Ostomy Wound Care to join our team at The Medical Center of Aurora. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to individuals with wound and ostomy needs.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong foundation in nursing principles, wound care, and ostomy management. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to wound and ostomy patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Develop and maintain wound and ostomy care plans, including wound debridement, dressing changes, and ostomy care
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication
  • Participate in education and training programs to stay current on best practices in wound and ostomy care
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Minimum of two years of acute care experience, preferably in wound and ostomy care
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Colorado
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
