Wound Ostomy Clinic Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Wound Care Clinic team at UCHealth Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct patient care to patients with wounds and ostomies, utilizing the nursing process to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement patient care plans based on comprehensive assessments to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor and record patient condition, communicating effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
- Educate patients and families on wound and ostomy care, promoting self-management and independence.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient transitions and referrals.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred: Certification as a Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (WOCN).
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
