Key Responsibilities- Document changes and provide technical support to Production
- Ensure effective communication between Design Engineering and Production
- Collaborate with Production, Engineers, and Customer Representatives to resolve issues
- Develop and implement deck plate changes
- 7 years of experience in shipyard design or construction, or 7 years of production floor experience, or 2 years of experience as a Field Engineer I
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (beneficial)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Understanding of scheduling and ability to meet deadlines
- Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office products
- Knowledge of Maritime Regulatory Authorities
- Experience in the construction of high-speed aluminum and/or Navy vessels
- Knowledge of modular construction methods
The work environment is dynamic, with regular exposure to humid conditions, bright flashing lights, and outside weather conditions. The noise level is usually very loud, + 90 dB.
Additional Guidelines- Able to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance (if required)
- Meet employment eligibility guidelines (18 years of age or older, US Person Status, no felony convictions, etc.)
