Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Production, Engineers, and Customer Representatives to resolve issues
  • Develop and implement deck plate changes
Requirements
  • 7 years of experience in shipyard design or construction, or 7 years of production floor experience, or 2 years of experience as a Field Engineer I
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (beneficial)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Understanding of scheduling and ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledge of Maritime Regulatory Authorities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the construction of high-speed aluminum and/or Navy vessels
  • Knowledge of modular construction methods
Work Environment

The work environment is dynamic, with regular exposure to humid conditions, bright flashing lights, and outside weather conditions. The noise level is usually very loud, + 90 dB.

Additional Guidelines
  • Able to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance (if required)
  • Meet employment eligibility guidelines (18 years of age or older, US Person Status, no felony convictions, etc.)
