Position: Food Service Worker - Full Time

Reporting Structure: Reports to Food Service Director/Executive Chef/Production Manager/Shift Supervisor

Qualifications:

We seek individuals who are hardworking and eager to learn. A strong customer service orientation and a passion for working in a culinary environment are essential.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in various food preparation tasks excluding cooking, including the preparation of cold dishes, washing, peeling, and cutting fruits and vegetables, slicing meats, mixing salad ingredients, and brewing beverages.
  • Notify supervisors regarding equipment malfunctions and low food or supply levels.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware; vacuum dining areas and mop kitchen floors.
  • Transport food supplies, equipment, and utensils between storage and work areas; stock cupboards and refrigerators, and manage salad bars and buffet setups.
  • Support cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed, including serving during meal times.
  • Receive and properly store food supplies and equipment in designated areas.
  • Monitor and record temperatures of food and storage areas.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance, uphold confidentiality of proprietary information, and safeguard company assets.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and HACCP regulations.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills:

Dependability and reliability are crucial. Candidates should be capable of performing physical activities that involve lifting, balancing, walking, and handling materials. Building and maintaining positive working relationships is important. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, follow instructions, and operate manual or electric appliances is required. Basic math, reading skills, and some computer proficiency are also necessary.
