Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Service Attendant to join our team at PeaceHealth. As an Environmental Service Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that assigned areas are cleaned and disinfected according to departmental procedures.
  • Perform other miscellaneous housekeeping duties such as replenishing supplies.
  • Respond to emergency cleaning needs or housekeeping requires in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with clinical personnel to determine priority of cleaning needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of formal housekeeping experience.
  • Preferred experience in hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Basic verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
Working Conditions

This position requires continuous moving around the area, frequent pushing/pulling, and occasional lifting and carrying. The work environment may be noisy and expose you to biohazard, body fluids, and airborne particles.
