We are looking for a performance model integration engineer to innovate technologies that expedite the development and validation of silicon.

You will collaborate with our top-tier silicon engineering and firmware development teams on next-generation chips that reach millions of users globally.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and sustain RTL-based performance models, integrating CPU IP and peripheral components.
- Validate, manage, and deliver models to various internal stakeholders.
- Facilitate clear communication with engineers from diverse fields (software, architecture, verification, and validation).
- Troubleshoot functionality and performance of extensive IP-based systems through simulation.
- Work autonomously and coordinate deliverables across multiple teams.
- Exhibit strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills.


Travel Requirements:
Occasional travel may be necessary to collaborate with development teams in various locations.

Qualifications:
- Proficient in HDL programming with Verilog/SystemVerilog.
- Familiarity with SystemVerilog and DPI (C/C++) is preferred.
- Understanding of Computer Architecture principles.
- Strong debugging capabilities in both software and hardware.
- Experience in developing HDL-based testbenches is essential (UVM experience is not required).
- Preferred experience in creating HDL-based testbenches for Emulation/Acceleration.
- Knowledge of developing bus functional models and utilizing Verification IP is advantageous.
- Experience with C/C++ testbenches is beneficial.
- Familiarity with CPU, IP, SoC performance analysis, and latency characterization is preferred.
- Exposure to X86/ARM Assembly is a plus.
- Familiarity with Xcelium/Modelsim/Synopsis VCS is beneficial.
- Experience with waveform debugging is a plus.
- Scripting and coding skills in Python are advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and prior experience in customer support are preferred.


Education & Experience:
A BS degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required.

Compensation & Benefits:
At Apple, base pay is just one aspect of our comprehensive compensation package, which is determined within a range based on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

The base pay range for this position is between $135,400 and $250,600.

Apple employees have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in our discretionary employee stock programs.

Additionally, employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through our Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
