Infectious Disease Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a full-time Infectious Disease Physician to join our team in a beautiful location near the coast of Connecticut. Our health care system is one of the best in the Northeast, and we offer a wonderful team environment that promotes wellness initiatives and work-life balance.
This is a unique opportunity for an Infectious Disease Physician to join our integrated team in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including inpatient consultations, outpatient office, and system-wide collaboration with over 20 ID physician colleagues.
As an Infectious Disease Physician with our team, you will have the opportunity to:
* Provide inpatient consultations at Medical Center
* Work in an outpatient office, including outpatient HIV and Hepatitis C patient treatment
* Assist with Antimicrobial Stewardship program
* Assist with activities of infection control and the hospital epidemiology programs
* System-wide collaboration with over 20 ID physician colleagues
* Post graduate medical education for residents as well as medical students
* Appointment to Quinnipiac University at the Assistant Professor level
