About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Runner to join our team at The Indigo Road Hospitality Group. As a Food Runner, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our kitchen and dining areas run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Delivery: Ensure that each dish is delivered to the respective table in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with the food expediter and other team members to ensure proper delivery of food and to respond to guest requests.
  • Table Maintenance: Take soiled tableware to the dish room and unload, sort, and stack silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in designated areas.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with fellow support staff to ensure that all areas of the restaurant are running smoothly.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least one year of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Positive Energy: A positive attitude and a willingness to assist fellow team members are essential.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees, and guests.
  • Schedule Flexibility: A flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
  • Physical Demands: Constant standing and walking with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting.
