Program Overview: Our childcare and Head Start initiatives provide a nurturing and developmentally appropriate environment for children of various age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children. We emphasize school readiness and foster a lifelong love of learning, focusing on enriching early education and care experiences that support each child's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.

Position Summary: The role of the Childcare Support Specialist is to assist classroom educators, thereby enhancing the quality of our Child Care and Head Start programs for enrolled children. This is a full-time position requiring 30 hours of work per week.

Qualifications:

  • A High School diploma or GED is required
  • CDA credential or enrollment in a CDA program, to be completed within two years
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both adults and children
  • Willingness to participate in job-related training sessions
  • Cultural sensitivity is essential
  • Being bilingual is an advantage
