Program Overview: Our child care and Head Start initiatives provide a nurturing and developmentally appropriate environment for children from infancy through school age. We are dedicated to supporting children's readiness for school and fostering a love for lifelong learning. Our programs include various options such as center-based care, family child care, and before and after school services.
Position Summary: The role of the Childcare Support Specialist is to assist classroom teachers, thereby enhancing the quality of our Child Care and Head Start programs for enrolled children. This is a full-time position requiring 30 hours of work per week.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required
- CDA credential or enrollment in a CDA program to be completed within two years
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and engage with children
- Willingness to participate in job-related training sessions
- Cultural sensitivity is essential
- Bi-lingual candidates are encouraged to apply
