Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Siemens Healthineers in Berkeley, California. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures that require a high degree of independent judgment and initiative in the utilization of radionuclides for the diagnosis and therapy of disease in humans.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional patient care and ensure the safety and well-being of patients during clinical procedures.
  • Verify patient identification and review orders for procedures to be performed.
  • Recognize and respond appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Maintain and operate auxiliary equipment necessary for procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families, preparing them for procedures and administering radionuclides/medications as needed.
  • Evaluate image appearance and perform additional views as required.
Requirements:
  • Certification Program - Graduate of accredited Nuclear Medicine technology school.
  • 1-year nuclear medicine experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ARRT(N) or NMTCB registry.
  • ARRT (CT) certification.
  • CPR and ARRT(N) registered and/or NMTCB registered.
  • SCRQSA License.
