Position Overview

CTTX Health is in search of a seasoned and proficient Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist to enhance our dedicated team. In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with executing nuclear imaging techniques and facilitating precise patient assessments and therapies. As a senior figure within the Nuclear Medicine department, you will provide mentorship and assistance to junior technologists, fostering a collaborative environment focused on exceptional patient care and improved health outcomes.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conducting nuclear imaging procedures, encompassing PET scans, SPECT scans, and various specialized nuclear medicine examinations.
  • Preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients with utmost care.
  • Managing and maintaining nuclear medicine apparatus.
  • Prioritizing patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures.
  • Collaborating with radiologists and healthcare professionals to assess and interpret imaging results.
  • Offering mentorship and training to less experienced nuclear medicine technologists.
  • Keeping precise and comprehensive records of all procedures and their outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid certification or license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in nuclear medicine technology.
  • Expertise in conducting nuclear imaging procedures, particularly PET and SPECT scans.
  • In-depth knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals and their administration protocols.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to work efficiently within a team and provide guidance to junior technologists.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Dedication to delivering high-quality patient care.
