Job Title:

Endocrinologist, Transitions and Virtual Care

Job Summary:

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking an open rank, fixed term faculty member to join the Division of Endocrinology, Department of Medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing our outpatient transitions and virtual care programs, providing exceptional patient care, and participating in the education of colleagues and trainees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coverage of inpatient consult services
  • Precepting fellows in the outpatient clinic
  • Expanding our division's footprint in North Carolina through virtual care services
  • Quality improvement and patient safety across inpatient and ambulatory settings
Requirements:

MD/DO, Board Certified/Board Eligible in Endocrinology

Preferred Qualifications:

Emphasis placed on exceptional clinical skills
