Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our Gastroenterology ambulatory practice. As a key member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive care to patients with complex acute and chronic conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage patients with acute and chronic conditions, including ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and prescribing therapeutic interventions.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized plans of care, utilizing evidence-based practice guidelines and protocols.
  • Provide education and instruction to graduate students, and participate in research and analysis of evidence-based practice.
  • Maintain ongoing communication and collaboration with the healthcare team, and facilitate communication with patients, families, and staff to promote continuity of care.
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
  • National Board Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • BLS certification
