Position Overview:

As a Lead Early Childhood Educator, you will oversee the daily operations of the classroom, ensuring the effective implementation of our innovative curriculum. Our curriculum is designed to be literacy-focused and structured, yet adaptable to meet the diverse needs of our students. You will have the creative freedom to develop engaging activities that align with the interests and requirements of the children in your care. Collaboration with fellow educators, school administration, families, and the broader community is essential to fostering a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Adheres to all company and state-specific standards, maintaining the necessary credentials for the role.
  • Meets all state-specific educational requirements. Candidates must possess one of the following:
    • A Bachelor’s Degree with at least 30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or a related field. (One year of experience with children may be required.)
    • An Associate Degree with at least 30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or a related field. (Two to three years of experience with children may be required.)
    • A High School Diploma or GED along with a minimum of two years of experience working with children.

To excel in this role, candidates must be capable of fulfilling essential duties effectively. Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. This position requires frequent walking, standing, sitting, squatting, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and other physical activities. Additionally, it involves carrying, lifting, and using fine motor skills, as well as the ability to hear and see clearly, with or without correction.
