Hospice House RN/LPN Job Summary

The Hospice House RN/LPN provides patient-centered care to individuals receiving in-patient hospice services. This role requires a strong commitment to the hospice concept and philosophy of care, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Main Responsibilities:
- Provides supportive care, pain and symptom management, preventative care, and personal care to maximize patient comfort and health
- Collaborates with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to develop skills in palliative care
- Commitment to the hospice concept and philosophy of care
- Develops and maintains effective relationships with patients, families, and other caregivers
- Participates in education and training programs to enhance knowledge and skills

Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio
- Two years acute care nursing experience (preferred)
- CPR certified
- Computer skills sufficient to properly document services and care
- Valid Driver's License with a safe driving record
