Job Title: Counter Sales Representative

At LINK Staffing, we are seeking a skilled Counter Sales Representative to join our team. As a Counter Sales Representative, you will be the face of our company, providing exceptional customer service and expert product knowledge to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide warm and professional customer service to clients.
  • Answer customer inquiries regarding product specifications, availability, and pricing.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
  • Maintain knowledge of current inventory, including fasteners, tools, and related supplies.
  • Assist customers in finding products and making informed purchasing decisions.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales area.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
  • Keep up-to-date with product knowledge, industry trends, and promotions.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in sales or business is a plus.
  • Bilingual is a plus.
  • Previous experience in counter sales or customer service, preferably in the equipment or industrial supply industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic math skills and proficiency in using computer systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs as needed.
