Position: Swing Shift MIG Welder

Role Summary: As a Welder at DECKED, you will be integral to our manufacturing process. Your meticulous attention to detail, technical expertise, and dedication to collaboration will be vital in upholding the exceptional quality and durability of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Weld steel components utilizing MIG welding techniques.
  • Repetitively lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Provide your own welding helmet.
  • Demonstrate effective time management to ensure timely job completion.
  • Identify and report any imperfections or discrepancies during the welding process.
  • Inspect finished products to confirm compliance with DECKED's specifications and quality standards.
  • Follow all safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to enhance efficiency and safety.
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors to meet production goals and fulfill customer requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: Minimum of 2 years of welding experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools and small power tools.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced production setting and achieve production objectives.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
