Overview:

The International Society for Bayesian Analysis is seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Collaborator to join our research team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on various projects focused on data collection efficiency, graph data collection strategies, anomaly detection, and demographic and health trends in low-resource settings.

About the Role:

This 12-month service period role involves collaborating with senior researchers on methodology development and data analysis. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to decision-making frameworks for policy decisions based on statistical and machine learning models.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing methodologies for efficient data collection
  • Collaborating on large-scale models for anomaly detection on graphs
  • Representing structure in networks using low-dimensional manifolds
  • Modeling demographic and health trends in low-resource settings

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, applicants must have a Ph.D. in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Sociology, or a related field. Strong analytical skills, programming expertise, and experience with statistical modeling are essential.

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
