About the Position:
VCU Health, MCV Physicians seeks an accomplished Anatomic Pathology expert to join our team as a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor. The successful candidate will possess expertise in Surgical Pathology/Cytopathology and contribute significantly to our academic surgical pathology and cytopathology services.

Key Responsibilities:
Clinical: Perform daily case sign-outs, working with a wide variety of neoplastic and inflammatory conditions. Participate in tumor boards and conferences with clinical colleagues, as well as departmental and national committees when necessary.

Teaching and Research:
Develop and lead educational activities for residents, medical students, and allied health professionals. Foster scholarly growth through presentations at national meetings, collaborative research projects, peer-reviewed publications, and active participation in professional organizations. Work closely with the Division Chair to advance the mission and vision of the Department of Pathology.

Requirements:
A minimum of an MD/PhD degree, board eligibility or certification in combined Anatomic and Clinical Pathology or Anatomic Pathology, and a strong scholarly record are required. Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in Virginia is also essential.
