Primary Care Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant to join our team at SPCP/Southeast Medical Group. As a Primary Care Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive and coordinated care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Manage patient populations in collaboration with primary care physicians and specialists
- Provide chronic and acute care to patients in outpatient and inpatient settings
- Order and interpret diagnostic lab work, x-rays, and EKGs
- Prescribe medications and other treatment modalities as needed
- Counsel patients on disease conditions and treatment options
- Work collaboratively with a comprehensive team to provide quality evidence-based care
- Graduate of a PA/NP program
- Current licensure through the Georgia Board
- Current prescriptive authority from the Georgia Board
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to push or pull heavy objects using up to 50 pounds of force
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to use fine motor skills to operate office equipment and/or machinery
- Ability to receive and comprehend instructions verbally and/or in writing
- Ability to use logical reasoning for simple and complex problem solving
- Ability to travel to multiple locations to support business needs as required
