The Lube Technician will carry out essential lubrication services and minor repairs on automobiles, collaborating closely with other Car Care Center staff and managing the company fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute oil changes and lubrication services for various vehicles.
- Conduct tire repairs and installations as needed.
- Perform additional minor automotive repairs as directed by senior technicians or service writers, based on individual skills.
- Acquire hands-on experience in diverse areas of automotive repair while pursuing ASE Certifications.
- Provide transportation for members using the company van.
- Retrieve parts as required for service operations.
- Support senior technicians to gain valuable experience.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Undertake miscellaneous tasks as assigned by senior technicians or management.
- Assist fellow technicians as requested.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in automotive tire, lubrication, or general repair, or completion of a six-month auto trade school or equivalent training program.
Driving Requirements:
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Proof of automobile liability insurance is required upon hiring.
