Job Title: Motor Gas Engineer

Life Cycle Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Motor Gas Engineer to join our team. As a Motor Gas Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the operation, maintenance, inspection, and training on Motor Gas (MOGAS) systems for the U.S. Navy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct annual inspections of designated ships' MOGAS systems and verify Cargo Fuel Operational Sequencing System (CFOSS) documentation.
  • Provide technical support for MOGAS system operations, maintenance, and repair.
  • Develop and implement training programs for MOGAS system operations and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma required, Associate degree preferred.
  • 10 years of naval shipboard work experience as military, civil service, or contractor supporting USN surface ship operation and/or maintenance.
  • 2 years of experience as a technical and subject matter specialist applying professional general engineering knowledge and concept in support of initiatives associated with Automotive Gasoline (MOGAS) maintenance, repair, and modernization of U.S. Naval vessel.
  • 2 years of experience in developing, tracking, and monitoring metrics and/or conducting deep dive analysis in Naval Engineering subject area.
  • Specific knowledge in Naval 3M system.
  • High degree of technical skills using Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
