We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in Omaha, NE. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and adaptable Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in predominantly outpatient procedures, including orthopedic, general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, robotic surgeries, plastic surgeries, ENT, urology, hand and podiatric surgeries, and breast reconstructions.
  • Managing a high volume of cases, averaging over 400 per month, catering to both adults and pediatric patients.
  • Working in a department with 6 OR suites.
  • Participating in up to 6-7 call shifts per month and covering 2-3 weekends over a 13-week contract, with at least one holiday call per year.
  • Joining a team characterized by a strong work ethic, efficiency, attention to detail, and effective team collaboration.
  • Wearing provided scrub color/dress code.
  • Charting of cases will be conducted using the EPIC system.
  • Engaging in 1-3 days of unit/department specific orientation.
  • Thriving in a supportive environment with great people and a collaborative culture, working towards making this the best OR in the region.

Please note that candidates must reside beyond a 50-mile radius from the facility. Requests for time off should be submitted upfront and limited to 7 or fewer days per 13-week contract. Additional time off requests after submission will not be approved.
