Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Northbridge Child Development Center. As a Toddler Teacher, you will play a vital role in fostering the intellectual, psychological, and physical growth of our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Development: Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth in our toddlers.
  • Schedule Management: Design and manage a daily and weekly schedule that ensures a balance of play, learning, and rest.
  • Child Care and Support: Provide basic care and support to our students, including feeding, bathing, and soothing.
  • Progress Monitoring: Evaluate children's progress and ensure they are reaching developmental milestones.
  • Parent Communication: Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's activities and progress.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience as a daycare teacher or childcare provider is essential.
  • Child Development Knowledge: A strong understanding of child development principles and theories is required.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills are necessary to manage a busy classroom environment.
  • Certifications: First aid and CPR certification, as well as a CDA (Child Development Associate) credential, are highly desirable.
  • Education: A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
