About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lean Manufacturing Manager to join our team at Shape Corp. as we continue to push the boundaries of innovation and excellence in the automotive and industrial component supplier industry.

As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving process improvements and implementing lean methodologies to enhance our manufacturing efficiency, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coach and support the management team in the application of SES methodologies and tools to drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide training and coaching to plant personnel at all levels of the organization to develop their lean knowledge and skills.
  • Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
  • Support plant problem-solving teams to ensure the production of quality parts and a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or supply chain management field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of lean implementation experience at a production facility, preferably with Toyota Production System or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of lean tools such as standard work, MIFC, SMED, pull system, Kaizen, and Hoshin.
  • Good interpersonal skills and training skills, with experience in training teams on lean methodologies and leading Kaizen events.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
