Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform laundry services for residents according to the established cleaning schedule.
  • Ensure that cleaning cloths and mops are laundered on a daily basis.
  • Assist with laundry tasks for dining room linens as needed.
  • Package, label, and distribute clean linens to resident apartments.
  • Maintain and oversee laundry equipment and supplies.
  • Keep the laundry area tidy, organized, and hygienic.
  • Conduct monthly inventory of laundry supplies and communicate any needs to the Housekeeping Director.
  • Report any equipment repair requirements to the Housekeeping Director.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping is advantageous.
Essential Competencies:
  • Genuine interest in working with seniors.
  • Ability to interact with guests, residents, and staff in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Prompt responsiveness to resident needs.
  • Support for organizational goals and values.
  • Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities effectively.
  • Availability for flexible work hours.
  • Capability to perform tasks efficiently, even amidst interruptions.
