Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Develop and implement strategies to improve plant efficiency, productivity, and quality control.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate a team of production staff, ensuring they have the necessary training and resources to perform their duties effectively.
  • Customer Focus: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all plant operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on plant performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; 1-2 years of experience in a related industry, preferably in plant operations or management.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Proven track record of improving plant efficiency and productivity; excellent leadership and communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Certifications and Training: ACI and IDOT certification preferred; ability to obtain within 6 months in position.
Work Environment

The Plant Operations Manager will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with regular exposure to heavy machinery, construction sites, and varying weather conditions. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and willing to work in a team-oriented setting.
