Job Opportunity: Disability Services Coordinator

In this role, you will work with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, providing essential support services in their homes or community living settings.

About the Position:

The Disability Services Coordinator is responsible for assessing the needs of consumers and developing personalized plans to ensure their well-being. This involves collaborating with local resources and agencies to provide comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough social histories to understand consumer needs
  • Develop and implement community-based plans to meet individual requirements
  • Serve as a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) and monitor program progress
  • Maintain compliance with Federal Home and Community Waiver regulations, state policies, and guidelines

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, applicants must have a strong understanding of human services and experience working with individuals with disabilities. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, along with relevant professional experience.

A valid permanent Oklahoma Nursing license may also be considered for this position. Additionally, applicants must possess excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple responsibilities.

Compensation:

This full-time position offers an annual salary range of $40,000 to $43,000, depending on level and experience. The selected candidate will also receive comprehensive State Employee Benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Location:

This position is based in Norman, Oklahoma, requiring extensive travel throughout the region. A valid driver's license and adequate car insurance are essential for this role.
