POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Financial Accountant role is pivotal in managing fixed asset transactions to guarantee accurate classification and reporting in accordance with GAAP and applicable tax regulations. This position supports monthly financial reporting, procedural compliance, and the closing process while compiling data for various internal and external financial reports.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage fixed asset documentation and equipment utilization allocations.
  • Oversee banking operations, including daily and monthly reconciliations, cash management, and credit card processing.
  • Analyze corporate credit card expenditures and ensure accurate expense reporting.
  • Collaborate with management to assess monthly physician compensation and fulfill reporting requests.
  • Prepare precise monthly journal entries as designated.
  • Facilitate a timely and accurate closing process related to assigned responsibilities.
  • Review and verify monthly sales tax filings for compliance and timely submission.
  • Compile data and schedules necessary for corporate income tax returns.
  • Support finance team initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and data management within the department.
  • Assist in the annual budgeting process by extracting relevant data from various financial systems.
  • Complete corporate surveys as requested by senior management.
  • Generate and deliver internal and external reports as required by the Controller.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Accounting Supervisor and Controller.
