Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Source Code. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for administering ionizing radiation to perform screening and diagnostic mammograms according to established protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer ionizing radiation to perform mammograms, adhering to radiation protection and safety standards.
- Demonstrate a high degree of accuracy in breast positioning, exposure techniques, and imaging parameters to optimize patient imaging and care.
- Integrate technical skills, patient interaction, and care to obtain viable diagnostic information as ordered by the physician.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of breast anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology as they relate to the procedure.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience or new graduate with a post-high school diploma program.
- RT (R) or RT (R) (M) certification.
- BLS certification.
Work Environment:
