Fiscal Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fiscal Analyst to join our team at Shasta College. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting the District's financial administration and ensuring the effective management of our resources.

• Perform a variety of technical and analytical fiscal functions in support of the District's financial administration, including budget planning, financial reporting, and fiscal analysis.
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Provide specialized functions in the analysis, tracking, processing, and reporting of financial and budgetary transactions, requiring a thorough knowledge of district accounting and reporting policies, procedures, and requirements.
• Supervise support staff and provide guidance and direction on financial and accounting-related policy and legal compliance matters.
• Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with other departments and stakeholders, including those from diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds.

• Progressively responsible experience in budgeting, financial management, and/or general statistical/analytical work.
• Associate's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field, plus two years of related experience, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Demonstrated sensitivity to, and understanding of, the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds of staff and students, as well as staff members and students with physical and/or learning disabilities.
