About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Operations Manager to join our team at Element Fleet Management. As the largest pure-play fleet manager in the world, we provide unmatched products and services and solutions to our clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and directing defined aspects of Client's fleet operations. This includes overseeing policy compliance and reporting as it relates to the fleet, developing and implementing vehicle and equipment specifications and cost management programs, managing fleet department budget, and developing and maintaining outside vendor and service provider relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and direct defined aspects of Client's fleet operations
  • Oversee policy compliance and reporting as it relates to the fleet
  • Develop and implement vehicle and equipment specifications and cost management programs
  • Manage fleet department budget
  • Develop and maintain outside vendor and service provider relationships

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a business discipline
  • Minimum of 7 years Fleet Manager/Industry experience
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Continuous Improvement Experience including cross-functional process mapping
  • CAFM accredited or in progress
  • Strong capabilities to effectively consult, influence, negotiate, and to lead change
  • Strong rapport-building and effective relationship skills with persons having a broad range of backgrounds
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, project management, and planning capability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where deadlines are essential
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), strong presentation skills; an effective listener
  • Fleet Industry knowledge
  • Experience with presenting new ideas to executive level
  • Proficient in at least one of the data visualizations tools, Excel; strong data mining skills
