Role Overview
The primary responsibility of this position is to serve as a liaison between the Help Desk and Engineering teams. This includes:
- Managing IT projects as assigned by senior management.
- Supporting the Infrastructure Manager, Network Engineer, and Security Engineer with project-related tasks.
- Handling escalated issues from the Help Desk team.
- Providing assistance to the Help Desk during peak volume periods.
- Identifying trends in issues and reporting them to relevant stakeholders.
- Proposing automation opportunities to enhance efficiency.
- Offering after-hours escalation support.
- Maintaining IT processes, including backup management and vendor relations.
- Advocating for IT operational excellence through adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring security protocols are followed to protect confidential information.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a dynamic technology environment.
- Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience.
- Physical capability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Availability for on-call duties during nights and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant industry certifications such as A+, Net+, or Google certifications.
Work Environment
This role may require travel to various locations as needed.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $82,000 - $103,000 annually. Our holistic compensation package includes:
