Job Responsibilities

This role involves designing and implementing system architectures including HMI, PLC, Motion, safety, and ancillary systems at the project / platform level, ensuring technical, cost, and timeline objectives are achieved.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with Electrical and Mechanical engineering resources on the project team to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Executing detailed design and programming of advanced packaging machinery & automation, including the integration of industrial hotmelt application systems and advanced vision systems
  • Maintaining complete and scalable project documentation for electrical schematics, BOM, I/O's and subsystem programs
  • Supporting the project team in achieving safety certifications, such as CE, UL, CSA, TUV, etc.

About the Team:

The Mechatronics and Sustainable Packaging group works backwards from deep customer insights to develop solutions that seamlessly integrate into brownfield and greenfield deployments with safety as a top priority.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in advanced motion control platforms integrated design and programming
  • 5+ years of experience with motion control software (Rockwell, Rexroth, Beckhoff, B&R, Siemens)
  • Bachelor's degree in Automation, Controls, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience

Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
