Baker and Packager Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Baker and Packager Associate to join our team. As a key member of our bakery department, you will be responsible for preparing fresh baked items daily, following recipes and production instructions, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards and sanitation guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment, following recipes/make-up instructions, and wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise according to company policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management.
- Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment, and demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution.
- Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team, communicate with members of the team, and be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.
- Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
- Ensure commitment to operational excellence, maintaining work area according to company policies and procedures, and ensuring quality and date control standards for bakery items.
- Be an advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member's experience in the meat area and modeling high-quality service and products.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time while assisting members quickly and accurately.
- Problem-solving skills to tackle obstacles head-on to ensure each task is completed with excellence.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
