Sanitation Operations Manager

T. Marzetti Company is seeking a skilled Sanitation Supervisor to join their team at the Horse Cave Campus. As part of the team, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and safety standards while striving for operational excellence.

Responsibilities- Lead by Example: Promote a culture of integrity, respect, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Sanitation Oversight: Supervise sanitation employees and oversee cleanliness standards to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Coordinate sanitation schedules for equipment and storage areas to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Workforce Development: Work with HR to develop and implement effective hiring and training strategies for sanitation employees.
- Objectives and Key Results: Ensure timely completion of sanitation objectives and monitor progress to achieve desired outcomes.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Maintain positive relationships with various departments to ensure adherence to standards and best practices.
- Safety Compliance: Monitor equipment operation and chemical usage to ensure safety compliance and minimize risks.
- Employee and Community Relations: Establish positive employee and community relations through effective communication and engagement.
- Leadership Experience: 2-3 years of sanitation/chemical leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Confidentiality and Communication: Ability to work with confidential information and manage correspondence effectively.
- Organizational and Multitasking Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Knowledge of Staffing and Scheduling: Knowledge of staffing, scheduling, and equipment processes to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Interpretation and Adaptability: Ability to interpret instructions and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Education and Certifications: Degree in Food Science or related field preferred.
