About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Wayfair. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience, driving sales, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized customer service, ensuring a positive and engaging experience for all customers.
  • Drive sales by asking insightful questions, offering product recommendations, and providing solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of products, services, and promotions to effectively communicate with customers.
  • Assist customers on the sales floor and in the design studio as needed, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Participate in operational aspects of the store, including processing new products, floor sets, replenishment, and general upkeep.
  • Exemplify a positive and professional attitude, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of retail sales experience, preferably in a design-related environment.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a drive to exceed sales targets.
  • Strong organization, self-motivation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment, with a willingness to adapt and grow.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team sales environment.
  • Technical acumen to learn necessary software, with proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office applications preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk, and hear. The employee frequently is required to handle, or feel, lift overhead, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Compensation starting at $17.95 per hour, with increases based on relevant experience and substantial quarterly bonuses.
