We are seeking a meticulous and results-oriented PPE Care Fire Gear Inspector to be part of our Curtis PPE division. This position is dedicated to the thorough processing, examination, and cleaning of personal protective equipment for emergency responders, alongside responsibilities in data management, logistics, and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform data entry related to equipment specifications, order processing, services rendered, client details, and shipping information.
  • Familiarize yourself with NFPA 1851 and other relevant industry standards and their application to our operations.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Utilize necessary tools, machinery, and cleaning equipment effectively.
  • Maintain precise records and execute accurate data entry tasks.
  • Sort, organize, assess, and clean personal protective gear components.
  • Engage in material inventory assessments.
  • Assist with maintaining cleanliness within the facility.
  • Operate company vehicles for collection and delivery tasks.
  • Provide assistance to the sewing department as required.

Essential Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) for data entry purposes.
  • Able to lift and manage items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Proficient in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension.
  • Possession of a valid and active driver's license.

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with a proven track record of effective interaction with clients, colleagues, and management.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience in inspecting and cleaning garments.
