Food Service Crew Member

The Food Service Crew Member is responsible for executing designated tasks at their assigned station to guarantee that high-quality products and services are provided to our patrons, in alignment with Papa John's standards. Adherence to the company's uniform, appearance, and operational guidelines as outlined in the Operations Manual, PIZZAcademy, and Team Member Handbook, as well as compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out designated station tasks, which include crafting quality products, preparing ingredients, processing orders, and delivering exceptional customer service through courteous and professional interactions with customers, whether by phone or in person, while maintaining a sense of urgency in all activities.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a team, ensuring punctuality for shifts, supporting colleagues at various stations, and completing all closing responsibilities, including cleaning, at the end of each shift. Uphold the company's image by adhering to uniform and appearance standards. Foster an environment of teamwork, enthusiasm, and enjoyment.
  • Utilize the FOCUS System accurately, handle cash and/or credit card transactions, and enhance sales efforts by suggestively selling to increase the average transaction value when processing orders. Safeguard the company's assets by maintaining organized, safe, and clean workspaces, and consistently complying with safety and security protocols.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification is preferred.
