Reinsurance Account Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Reinsurance Account Manager to join our team at Alliant Insurance Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and overall service of assigned customers and/or policies, soliciting new business on existing accounts, and supporting Producer-led new business efforts.
Key Responsibilities- Support Producers in developing new business opportunities for existing clients and prospects.
- Analyze certificate, endorsement, and audit requests, ensuring accuracy of dates, coverage, signatures, commission, premium, attachments, etc.
- Facilitate the flow of information from agents and underwriters to internal teams and/or clients.
- Initiate cancellation and non-renewal notices timely according to statutory and contractual requirements.
- Respond promptly to all requests from internal teams, (re)insurers, or clients regarding account servicing issues.
- Interact regularly with brokers, clients, and underwriters regarding certificates, responding to queries and concerns with a prompt resolution.
- Provide and/or assist with quotations and binders for new business, renewals, and endorsements.
- Proactively initiate and coordinate renewal activity on assigned accounts.
- Review client accounting history, respond to accounting inquiries, correct discrepancies, and contact clients on receivable collections.
- Provide technical guidance to staff assisting with client needs or procedural issues.
- Notify brokers of pertinent information related to client retention.
- Comply with agency management system data standards and data integrity, entering and maintaining complete and accurate information.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least six (6) years of related work experience.
- A valid insurance license.
- The ability to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work within a team and foster teamwork.
- Excellent customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills.
- Good leadership, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
