Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Mixer to join our Manufacturing team on 1st Shift at our Solon, OH facility. The hours for this position are from 7:00am - 3:00pm, Monday - Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture materials according to batch cards and mixing work instructions
  • Clean mixing equipment per work instructions at scheduled intervals
  • Monitor the integrity of mixes and shut down the operation if out of compliance
  • Assist in training new mixers and support other lines as needed
  • Operate computer systems and lift trucks, with the ability to understand and carry out oral and/or written instructions
  • Perform physical demands, including constant standing and walking, occasional lifting/pushing/pulling up to 65 pounds, and climbing in/out of pots for cleaning
  • Promote and follow all safety guidelines and procedures, and recommend safety improvements as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • 3-4 years of batch mixing experience in hand cleaner or related industry
  • Computer and fork truck experience
