Job Description

We offer comprehensive training on your shift after orientation. You will work in a small assembly line department where your tasks include putting powders into small cups, sealing the lids, using a scale to weigh the cups, and placing stickers and labels on the small cups. You will stand on your feet for the entire shift and work closely with 6-8 other team members to meet daily production goals. The environment is fast-paced and repetitive, requiring the ability to read a scale and work instructions, lift 30 lbs, and perform cycle counting. Saturday hours vary by shift: 1st shift (5am-11am), 2nd shift (11am-5pm), and 3rd shift (11pm-5am, Friday night). Pay is competitive with a base rate of $16/hour, plus department pay of $2/hour and shift differentials: 1st shift ($18/hour), 2nd shift ($20/hour), and 3rd shift ($19.50/hour).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Solon, Ohio.

Work Environment

No cell phones or electronic devices of any kind are allowed in this department due to static electricity. You will be required to stand on a grounding mat a few times during your shift to ensure there is no electrical charge. PPE is required, including 100% cotton clothing, steel toe boots, and hearing protection (provided). The work environment is a very fast-paced machine shop where safety is paramount. This facility primarily stamps and makes fasteners for the steel industry. The company has undergone positive changes and is known for innovation, quality, and reliability.
