Job Summary:

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Systems Engineer to support the Integrated National Systems (INS) Business Unit in the Payload and Ground Systems Division Engineering organization. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing engineering requirements for the Ground Segment, system integration, verification, and validation, and model-based systems engineering work in Cameo.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop engineering requirements for the Ground Segment
  • System integration, verification, and validation
  • Model-Based Systems Engineering work in Cameo
  • Develop system interfaces and manage Interface Control Documents (ICDs) for the program

Requirements:

  • Active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance at time of application
  • Willingness to submit to and pass a polygraph
  • Completed STEM degree
  • Level 3 (Principal): 5 years of relevant experience with a completed Bachelor's (STEM), 3 years with a completed Master's (STEM), or 0 years with a completed Ph.D. (STEM)
  • Level 4 (Sr Principal): 8 years of relevant experience with a completed Bachelor's (STEM), 6 years with a completed Master's (STEM), or 4 years with a completed Ph.D. (STEM)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Rational DOORS for requirements management
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering in Cameo
  • Experience with Agile Framework and the various ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Reviews, Scrums, Retrospectives, Refinement)

Salary Range: $97,500 - $153,600
