Ware Malcomb is seeking a highly skilled Senior Interior Designer to join our Design Studio. As a Senior Interior Designer, you will be responsible for the development of space plans, concepts, and specifications for interior design projects.
Key Responsibilities- Project Development: Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with clients, conduct client presentations, and follow projects from inception through construction to maintain design quality and intent.
- Design Leadership: Conduct programming efforts to facilitate space planning, layout, and utilization of furnishings and equipment, and select and specify FFE, all finish materials, and artwork.
- Collaboration and Communication: Communicate with clients, consultants, contractors, industry partners, and Ware Malcomb employees, and coordinate with Project Managers.
- Mentorship and Training: Mentor and direct the work of less experienced staff in correctly documenting design.
- Business Development: Contribute to office activities and participate in design community organizations.
- Experience: Preferred 10 years of experience in Interior Architecture Design.
- Education: Preferred Bachelor's Degree or Technical College Degree/Certificate in an accredited Interior Architectural related program.
- Certifications and Licenses: Accreditation/Registration/Licensure or pursuing Accreditation/Registration/Licensure preferred.
- Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to create complete presentation packages, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD/Architectural Desktop, Adobe Suite, and Sketchup.
