About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Ellie Mental Health. As a Child & Adolescent Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing innovative therapeutic experiences to our clients in a comfortable and furnished office setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate mental health diagnoses and create personalized treatment plans for clients
  • Provide exceptional customer service and collaborate with our dynamic team to further our mission of improving mental health care
  • Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed their goals
  • Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session, adhering to company guidelines and protocol
  • Manage a minimum caseload of 25 hours of client visits and actively engage with the community and our valued partners
  • Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited college or university
  • Valid state of Michigan License (LMFT, LMSW, LPC, etc.)
  • Clinical training in Play Therapy or Child and Adolescent Therapy, or specialized in child and adolescent therapy
  • Registered Play Therapist credential or other play therapy certification is a plus
  • Ability to work with clients starting around age 5
  • Experience with completing treatment plans and clinical case notes
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
  • Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
  • Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
  • Proficient in the use of Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus)
  • Fully Licensed Clinicians will ideally be credentialed with insurance panels

Compensation

$55,000-$93,000 based on experience and caseload
