Position: Home Caregiver

Our Home Caregivers play an essential role in enhancing the lives of our participants by delivering personalized support in their residences. As integral members of our interdisciplinary team (IDT), you will actively contribute to the care planning process and ensure that our participants receive the highest quality of care.

Reporting Structure: The Home Caregiver will report directly to the Home Care Supervisor and is responsible for the safe provision of personal care services to participants in their homes, following established schedules and directives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hands-on personal care and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) for participants, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and safe physical transfers.
  • Support participants with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), such as laundry, light housekeeping, and shopping.
  • Monitor and document vital signs as instructed to ensure participant health and safety.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring participants maintain proper nutrition and hydration.
  • Facilitate safe transfers in and out of homes and provide medical escort services as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Rehabilitation department by implementing home exercise programs as outlined in care plans, following appropriate training.
  • Offer translation services when qualified, to enhance communication and understanding.

The salary range for this position is $22.05 per hour, plus bonuses and equity. WelbeHealth offers a competitive total rewards package, including 401(k) matching, healthcare coverage, and a wide array of other benefits. Actual compensation will be adjusted based on experience and qualifications.
